The Triumph Sporting Owners was founded in 1964 in the Manchester and Oldham area as the Spitfire Owners Club. The present title was adopted in 1974 when the facilities of the Club were expanded to all Triumph Owners. The aim of the Club is to encourage the use and preservation of Triumph Cars for pleasure, competition, and exhibition, and to that end has run Speed Hill-Climbs, Autotests, Trials, Treasure Hunts and trips to places of interest.

We attend a lot of classic car shows throughout the year putting on club stand displays and the club regularly wins awards for best cars and best stand.
